Data deletion instructions
Effective 21 May 2026
Pencilme stores data on behalf of business owners and their customers. You can ask us to delete that data at any time using either of the methods below.
If you signed in with a Pencilme account
- Open Settings → Account from the dashboard.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
- Your business profile, bookings, and customer records will be deleted within 30 days. Backups containing this data will be overwritten within 90 days.
By email (any data subject)
If you cannot access an account, or if you are a customer who booked through a business that uses Pencilme, email us:
- To: beevekmgr@gmail.com
- Subject: Pencilme data deletion request
- Include: the email or phone number associated with the data, so we can locate the right records.
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation. We may verify your identity before deleting, to prevent someone else from deleting your data without permission.
What is not deleted
We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself (your request, the date, and the action taken) for audit purposes, and we may retain data we are required to keep by law (for example, tax records relating to paid invoices).
